For thousands of years Indian Head Massage has been practiced as part of family ritual. It originates from the ancient system of medicine known as Ayurveda and works on the upper chakras. There are reflex points and meridians in your head, neck and shoulders and when receiving Indian Head Massage these areas are stimulated to encourage healing and harmony.

This treatment can help to relieve stress related problems which include headaches, eyestrain, neck and shoulder stiffness. Indian Head Massage can help to improve hair condition and also help to relieve disorders such as:

Earache

Tinnitus

Sinusitis and Congestion

Migraine

Insomnia

Hair disorders associated with stress; Alopecia, Psoriasis, Scalp Tension.

On arrival for your treatment you will be made to feel most welcome. The treatment will be explained to you and any questions you have will be answered. This treatment is given whilst sitting in a low backed chair. As I am a Reiki Practitioner you may feel a nice gentle warming feeling from time to time during the massage.

At the start of the treatment you will be asked to take a few deep breaths and then gentle massage is given to the shoulders. I will then begin to work on the neck and shoulders. You will find this a very relaxing experience. I then move to the arms and then the head. During the head treatment you will feel some very pleasant sensations. You may realise at this point just how relaxed you are becoming. The face massage is next followed by massage of the ears. Cleansing of the upper chakras takes place at the end. The treatment lasts for 30 to 40 minutes but please allow a little longer. Cost £20. (Please add £5 for mobile appointments)
